Coronavirus

We would like to confirm that, following the easing of lockdown restrictions and in line with the instructions issued by NHS England, patients and staff will still be required to follow all existing protocols including wearing masks in the practice and social distancing measures. Please click here for the full NHS England statement.

We thank you for your continued support in protecting each other.

We are following all guidelines relating to hygiene, cleaning and PPE, to continue to meet our consistently high standards of infection prevention and control.

Please familiarise yourself with the following necessary changes:

You must not attend the practice without an appointment.

You will receive a link via email or SMS to complete your forms remotely, so please ensure your contact details are up to date.

You will need to wait outside the surgery and call reception when you arrive.

Please do not arrive early and you must attend alone unless accompanying a child or as a carer.

You will be required to sanitise your hands upon entry and the door will be opened and closed for you by a member of staff. We will also take a recording of your temperature.

We ask that you use contactless payment methods and payment will be taken on arrival.

Please be aware that the toilet is out of use.

The surgery and staff PPE will look a little different than you are used to.

Please adhere to the 2m social distancing rules at all times and you must not attend if you, anyone in your household or anyone you have been in close contact with have symptoms of Covid-19.

As a result of these changes, our capacity is reduced in terms of the number of patients we will be able to see per day. If you have a dental emergency or pain, please call us and we will arrange for a dentist to speak to you. If appropriate, an appointment will be offered for you to be seen face-to-face.

We will be in contact as soon as we can with patients who were in the middle of treatment to advise you of what happens next, and we will let you know when you will be able to book your normal check up.

We are incredibly grateful for all of the support and understanding you have shown – we just ask you to be patient a little longer.

This statement is under constant review; we will keep you updated as and when developments arise.

If you have a dental emergency during our usual opening hours, please call the practice number so that we can advise you further. Outside of these hours, please call NHS 111.
